Here we go again.
I’ll spare you the introductions after such a long absence (feel free to check out the “About” section for those details). Today marks my second attempt at the blog, and I have to say I feel way more inspired this time around.
It could be because I’ve found a number of blogs I love. Maybe it’s the guilt from never really committing to the England blog. I like to think it’s the former. There’s just something about certain blogs that makes you feel like you know the author, because they’re such eloquent writers. In my case, I prefer a passionate, simple blog about the mundane, the ordinary, the delicious aspects of life. It’s easy to tell when someone is trying too hard to be sophisticated, you know? Not to mention annoying.
My pledge then, is to try to stick to the simple things. To stick to my voice, not what I think sounds “worldly” or “wise” or god-forbid “hipster-ish.” (?)
Therefore look forward to fun stories, food pictures, recipes, and much more in the exciting, varied, and normal life of Melissa Greenaway.
